These five items are accounts kept by Charles Carroll for items purchased between 1829-1834, and they represent three different Maryland businesses. The first account, from Samuel Childs, details purchased parts and repairs made to his coaches. The second, from saddlemaker, Felix Jenkins, documents the purchase of harnesses, whips, saddles, trunks, and bridles. The remaining three accounts are with Richard Caton, who sold Carroll food, clothing, glass, lumber, pew rent, a tortoise shell box, and gilt china cups and saucers.
